Lovely hole in the wall. Excellent steak pho, friendly service, cozy interior... they had everything I was looking for at a decent restaurant. Also really enjoyed their complimentary drink and dessert. Around $15, you can enjoy all these and more. It's a steal I say. I am definitely coming back to try other dishes. Just come and try. You will love it here if you are a true fan of steak pho
Always Great food , good service, great drink ! Thank you very much James and Hai ! Every time we come they serve delicious meals all day .

Fast friendly service by Lynn. This was our first time trying this place and it was nice to see a warm welcoming face. We ordered pho and some delicious hot egg rolls. Will be back!
Ox tail is good with free ice tea. Complementary is always good and soul taste salty enough.
I am happy to say that the Pho Ap Chao is now perfect because I simply asked them to make the noodles a little thicker so there is more of a chewy middle surrounded by crispness. They now laid the fried noodles on the side so the sauce does not make it soggy. Love it! Did I mention they give you a little dessert (chè) if you dine in.
The food was super flavorful! We got chicken pho, lemongrass chicken, and shrimp spring rolls. Their peanut sauce is absolutely delicious and all the food was really filling. One thing to highlight was the great service at this place. They offered us a delicious tapioca desert on the house! The waiters and manger are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good seating too. Although it was crowded, we still felt isolated and able to have private conversation. Would recommend!
I ordered the bone rib pho and it was good! It doesn't compare anywhere near phoholic or pho lovers in my opinion which are still my favourite pho places. They always had very fast service within ordering we received our food within 5-10 mins. They also serve a small tapioca dessert after which was delicious. The reason they lost a star is because we ordered their popcorn chicken for the kids and it was very dry over cooked I feel and lacked flavour. My kids didn't like it nor did I. My mom also ordered a grilled pork sub it was also dry not something I'd come back to order but their pho was good.
If you are craving Pho, this is the place to go. Most of the menu items are good to great; the portions are just right; the pricing is reasonable; and the servers are kind and competent. My party ordered the Pho Tai Steak (medium is $15; extra large portion is $1 more), House Special Pho ($16 for medium, also $1 more for extra large), Egg Rolls (5 rolls, $11), Shrimp Fried Rice ($16), and Chicken Bites ($9). Extra Large means more broth and rice noodles, not necessarily more meat. The medium is a good portion if you are not too hungry; if you are a starving adult, go for the extra large portion. The Pho Tai Steak has lean and thin slices of beef in the soup. The House Special gives you a variety: brisket, steak, tendon, tripe, and meat ball. The standard toppings (bean sprouts, basil leaves, lime and jalapeno slices) come on a separate plate. There was no unpleasant smell to the meat or the soup; the broth was clear with no scum; and the veggies were clean and fresh. The fried rice was delicious, but the shrimp was definitely from frozen and overcooked, and not deveined. The egg rolls came with clean and fresh green-leaf lettuce leaves, mint, cilantro, and cucumbers, tasting exactly as it should be. The fried chicken bites were also delicious, but one of my party commented that it was on the dry side. All of these dishes had either or both of the sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, working as palate cleansers. At the end of the meal, they give you a dessert: a small bowl of mungbean soup with tiny tapioca pearls. The soup tasted a bit watered down and there was a hint of coconut. I didn't really enjoy it but someone in my party who frequents this place said it's an acquired taste; he didn't quite enjoy it at first, but got accustomed to it and now enjoys it. I highly recommend this place.
We've been coming to this pho shop for years since it opened. It's also been a reliable place to get pho in South OC. The waiters are quick and attentive and pricing used to be fairly decent for what was served. They have a pretty good amount of dishes on their menu. We order a good rotation of their pho which includes the house special pho which is a large combination of everything (rare steak, brisket, meatballs and seafood items), the rare steak pho, the grilled pork pho, the chicken pho, and their bun (noodle) nem nuong. Even with the ridiculous price increase during the past 2 years, this is still one of the best pho places in the area. Although we don't come here as often, it's still our local go to spot in South OC. As a side note, if you're comparing this to any of the pho places in Westminster, this pales in comparison to them and would be considered mediocre at best, but for the area you can't get a better bowl.
